PawTechShop is operated by Zaid Ghebreamlak. We sell pet technology and accessories through pawtechshop.co.uk.

We are the data controller for personal information we use to manage our business, communicate with customers and fulfil orders. Our store is hosted by Shopify.

Depending on how you interact with our store, we use:

Purposes and lawful bases

We use necessary order and delivery information to process purchases, arrange fulfilment, provide customer support and handle returns. This is necessary to enter into and perform our contract with you.

We keep records needed to meet applicable accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

We may use relevant information to prevent fraud, resolve disputes and respond to enquiries in our legitimate interests in running a secure business and supporting customers, while considering your rights.

Where consent is required for marketing or optional tracking, we rely on that consent. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Using our website does not by itself mean that you consent to marketing or optional tracking.

Who receives information

Information needed to operate the store and fulfil orders is shared with Shopify, payment providers, relevant fulfilment services, suppliers and delivery carriers. Supplier-direct delivery requires the details needed to dispatch your order.

DSers supports our supplier and fulfilment workflow. Information needed by professional advisers or public authorities may be disclosed for accounting, legal claims or legal obligations.

Providers may also handle information under their own privacy notices. Shopify explains its processing in its Privacy Policy.

International processing

Shopify and suppliers may process information outside the UK. The protections applicable to a transfer depend on the provider, destination and arrangements used. These may include an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.

Retention

We retain information for the time needed for its purpose. Retention depends on order fulfilment, returns, applicable accounting and tax requirements, unresolved disputes and legal claims.
